Dr. M. S. Farahvash MD, Optometrist

Dr. Farahvash completed Medical school as a gold medalist at the University of Tehran. He specialized in Ophthalmology and was an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology. As an international eye surgeon, He practiced as an eye surgeon in Farabi Eye Hospital for over twenty five years.

He also has been involved in different researches in ophthalmology and was the director of research in the Department of Ophthalmology of Tehran University.
​
He has extensive knowledge and clinical experience in the diagnosis and the management of different eye diseases and visual problems including refractive problems, cataract, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, systemic diseases, dispensing contact lens and eye surgeries.
​
He is certified by the Board of Examiners of Optometry in Canada and granted the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPAs).
